Moving our bodies can keep us looking fierce, fabulous and ageless. It can keep our bodies supple, lean, and flexible. Moving our bodies expends calories, improves our digestion, helps us sleep better, and controls our appetite. We exercise because it assists us through menopause; diminishing hot flashes and the insomnia that often plagues us in menopause. Yoga, walking, swimming, weight training, and Pilates strengthens our heart and bones, combats depression and Anxiety. It can also improve or reduce high blood pressure and diabetes, improve our memory and stave off or slow down Alzhemier's. Even gardening, mowing the lawn, raking leaves, and vacuuming the living room can burn calories
and give you a good work out. Of course, eating plenty of whole foods -
preferably organic vegetables and fruits can also add to a sense of well being -mentally and physically, and keep us fierce, fabulous, and ageless!
